Donation item drop-off:

At DreamTree Project, we’re committed to providing housing and compassionate support to youth, adults, and families experiencing housing instability.We gladly accept new or gently used items that directly support our mission and the dignity of those we serve. Please see the list (right) for a full guide of donations we can and cannot accept.

If you’re unsure whether an item is a good fit, we’re happy to guide you. This helps ensure your gift can be put to immediate use.

Small items can be dropped off at:
708 Felicidad Lane Monday–Thursday, 10am–3:30pm

For larger items, please call first for approval: 575-613-8708
or email giving@dreamtreeproject.org.

Items we must approve or cannot accept:

  • Tools or equipment in good working order may be accepted

  • Larger furniture (couches, dining tables, dressers, etc.) accepted with approval

  • Small appliances in good working condition may be accepted

  • No used mattresses

  • No older, outdated TVs, computers, or other electronics

  • No dirty, torn, or broken items

Partnering for dignity and choice:

At DreamTree Project, we want everyone we serve—youth, adults, and families—to have items that fit their style, size, and personality. That’s why we partner with CAV, Re-Threads, and Uptown Thriftstore. When we can’t accept certain donations, bringing them to these partners still supports DreamTree.

Through store credit and vouchers, guests from NEST Shelter, the Street Outreach team, and Transitional Living Program can choose clothing and essentials that truly work for them, whether it’s everyday wear, work attire, or seasonal gear. Your donations to our partners give dignity, choice, and comfort to those rebuilding their lives.

SHELTER WISHLIST

Our Shelter team updates their most-needed youth and adult items each month, such as:

  • Sleeping bags and blankets

  • Paper plates and bowls

  • Working flat screen TVs

  • Coffee

  • Tea

  • Shoelaces

  • Reusable water bottles

These items can be dropped off at our offices during business hours, or shipped directly to us by shopping on our Amazon wishlist below.

STREET OUTREACH WISHLIST

Our Street Outreach team updates their most-needed items each month, such as:

  • Personal hygiene items

  • Emergency blankets

  • Sleeping bags

  • Sunscreen

  • Rain ponchos

  • Bandanas

These items can be dropped off at our offices during business hours, or shipped directly to us by shopping on our Amazon wishlist below.

VOLUNTEER

You have skills that our youth need, from how to make burritos, to how to check the oil in a car.

If you would like to volunteer to teach a life skills class, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator.

BECOME A MONTHLY DONOR
