The DreamTree Project is a community

led initiative to serve young people in Taos, New Mexico.

OUR MISSION:

We believe youth have the right to a compassionate, loving place to grow.

The DreamTree Project exists to provide youth with a respectful, loving and safe place for growth and to nurture their potential for becoming independent, positively involved members of their community.

Branches

of the

DreamTree

  • Transitional living program to assist homeless youth who have experienced familial abuse in acheiving personal & economic independence.
  • Family & individual therapy
  • Cycles of abuse/anger management therapy
  • Community Service

The DreamTree Project is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, community-based organization for homeless, abused, and neglected youth from New Mexico and the surrounding region. We opened our doors in November 2000 with our Transitional Living Program.  It is now 2006 and we will soon double our capacity to house even more youth.  We are also well on our way to providing an emergency shelter as well.
