DreamTree Project's "A Mile in My Shoes" First Annual Walkathon September 10, 2006
|
Stilt Walkers from the Flying Desert Brigade greeted walkers as they arrived at the Solar Station.
|
DreamTree Youth crossing the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, commencing the 7 mile walk.
We raised $29,000 towards opening an Emergency Youth Shelter. When fully functioning, the Treehouse Shelter will serve 208 youth in crisis per year. Our annual budget will be approximately $439,000. We have received $95,000 from our first Basic Center grant. This makes $315,000 left to raise.
Thank you for your continued support Taos!!
